New word ladders are available at 12 a.m. every day
A word ladder is a word game, or word puzzle, where you build a "ladder" from one word to another. Each rung in the ladder is a new word that is only one letter different from previous word. Players must keep making new words, and building rungs down the ladder, until they can make the final word.
Common variations of the game include 4-letter ladders and 5-letter ladders, with 5-letter ladders are often being a much harder game. Often the given two words in a word ladder will be related, like RAIN and SNOW or BANKS and MONEY.
The letter that was changed from the previous word has a box around it.
The letter turns GREEN when you have the correct letter in the correct spot.
Each word ladder comes with a goal score. Players should aim to complete the word ladder in that many guesses using common words. Try to beat the goal score by using rare words!
